More news about Nafissa Thompson-Spires’ rise to fame has come up today: Amazon Studios has hired playwright Antoinette Wandu to adapt Thompson-Spires’ short story Wash Clean The Bones into a film. Wash Clean The Bones is a short story from Thompson-Spires’ critically-acclaimed book Heads of the Colored People, which was long-listed for a National Book Award.
