This work “celebrates the beauty of earth and humanity’s historic search for living in balance.” The three sections of music are designed to move listeners, and draw from and expands on the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay, Walt Whitman, Lord Alfred Tennyson, William Wordsworth, and others.
